1:1 Coaching
“Alison is an excellent vocal coach! She listened to me as I shared my goals and challenges, then designed lessons accordingly. Very professional and personable. We decided together that we would use half of each lesson for speaking, and the other half for singing. She has also helped me practice masculinizing my speaking. I highly recommend her!”

My promise to you:
I won’t tell you that you have to stand still when you vocalize. Movement and expression are part of the process.
I won’t push you into a one-size-fits-all method. Your voice and goals guide our work together.
I won’t criticize your natural sound or tell you your voice is “wrong.”
I won’t limit you to just one style. You’ll have the freedom to explore different genres.
I won’t overload you with technical jargon. Lessons are clear and practical, and I’m always happy to adjust my methods.
I won’t rush your progress. We will move at a pace that supports your growth.
I won’t treat mistakes as failures. They’re an important part of learning.
I won’t ignore the body and breath. Your whole self is the instrument.
Can’t read music? That’s ok! Musicality isn’t measured by your music theory knowledge or ability to sightread. As your coach, we can work on it together or skip it altogether.
